Montreal-based Internet media company Branchez-Vous inc., owner of Quebec's largest Internet portal Branchez-Vous.com, recorded second-quarter net earnings doubling the total from the same quarter in 2006. For the quarter ended June 30, 2007 the company reported $1,370,000 in revenues and $268,000 in net earnings compared, respectively, to $1,092,000 and $114,00 from the quarter ended June 30 2006. "BRANCHEZ-VOUS! continued to grow in sync with the Internet advertising market," said Branchez-Vous CEO Patrick Pierra in a news release. "With net earnings representing 14% of sales for the first six months of 2007 and 19% of sales in the second quarter of 2007, we got back to a satisfying profit margin. We are well positioned to benefit from the sustained growth of our market." The results increased shareholders' equity to $1.8 million, or by 6 cents per share, as of June 30.
