Quarterback/bachelor brings his double-threat status to Canada

Brief | August 31, 2007

Former NFL quarterback, onetime star of ABC's The Bachelor, and Nepean ON-native Jesse Palmer has signed an exclusive broadcast deal with TSN and CTV. The former New York Giants backup will work this season as an NFL analyst on TSN's SportsCentre as well as a NY-based entertainment correspondent for CTV's entertainment program eTalk. "Although I've spent most of my adult life in the U.S., I'm still a Canadian at heart and I'm excited to appear on the airwaves north of the border," said Palmer in a press release. "This is a unique opportunity that combines my passion for football and interest in the world of entertainment. I grew up watching TSN and am thrilled to now be part of the team." Palmer will headline the new Monday Morning Quarterback segment on SportsCentre beginning September 3 and lasting throughout the season. He will also regularly interview A-list stars from the world of movies, TV, music and fashion on eTalk, Canada's most-watched entertainment newsmagazine program.
