For the fourth year running, Telefilm Canada and HEC Montreal's executive education program have teamed up to provide bursaries for audiovisual industry producers and distributors wishing to attend the program to perfect their film and television management skills. The competition for the $3,200 bursaries was open to managers permanently employed by a Canadian television or film production or distribution company in the private sector, and the winners will attend the TVA-HEC training session November 14-21 at Saint-Sauveur QC. The selection committee composed of Telefilm and HEC Montréal representatives selected the following five recipients: Geneviève Lavoie from Production des Années lumières inc.; Nish Media's Carole Thibeault; Signal Productions' Sylvain Gagné; Mindy Laxer from Apartment 11 Productions; and Anne-Marie Turcotte from MAS Video Film Inc.
