MTS TV reaches 75,000 customer mark in Winnipeg

MTS Allstream Inc.'s digital television service MTS TV has officially acquired its 75,000 customer in Winnipeg. Over the past two years MTS TV has increased its customer base by more than 30,000, including 5,000 additions since last April. "We are very excited that MTS TV continues to make outstanding progress in the marketplace," said Kelvin Shepherd, president of MTS' consumer markets division, in a press release. "Our customers value the variety of channel packages, the high quality 100% digital picture and sound, and the unique features that allow them to make the most of their bundled MTS services." In addition to the standard features offered with digital TV, MTS also delivers services such as TV call display, photos on demand and email on demand to its customers.
