Debbie Lawes and Mark Henderson are the new senior executives at Tech Media Reports, following the company's acquisition by Dovercourt Editorial Services on November 5.Lawes assumes the roles of president, publisher and managing editor of the business-to-business newsletter company. She is also co-founder, president and senior editor of Dovercourt Editorial Services, an Ottawa-based communications company specializing in writing, editing and publishing newsletters, magazines and other communications vehicles. Ms. Lawes has worked as a journalist and editor for more than 20 years. She first became associated with the newsletters in 1992, under their original ownership by Evert Communications. She played a central role in the launch of Canadian Communications Reports in 1993, Report on Wireless in 1996 and Canadian NEW MEDIA in 1997. When the newsletters were acquired by Decima Research in 2000, she was appointed publisher and managing editor, a position she held until 2001.Henderson becomes vice president of Tech Media Reports. He is currently vice president of Dovercourt Editorial Services, and managing editor of Research Money (http://www.researchmoneyinc.com/), a specialized newsletter that has been reporting on Canadian science policy and funding for 21 years. Mr. Henderson has worked as a journalist for 30 years, and will contribute as both a writer and advisor to Tech Media Reports.
