MTS Allstream Inc. has acquired Multinet Communications Services Inc. in a move designed to improve the communications unified communications offerings in the province of Quebec, but also nationally. Established more than 20 years ago, Multinet has more than 7,000 customers nationally, primarily in the retail and hospitality industries. More than 50% of their customers are Quebec-based and the majority of Multinet's 80 employees are located in Montreal and Quebec City.
