Communicate.com appoints new corporate development officer

Vancouver-based Internet commerce and media company Communicate.com Inc. has appointed Mark Melville to the newly-created role of chief corporate development officer, effective January 1. Melville was most recently employed at the Monitor Group, own of the world's largest strategic consulting investment firms. Prior to that he was CEO of SteelTrace, a business process and requirements management software provider. He holds a masters in business administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business, a masters in public administration degree from Harvard's JFK School of Government and an Honors BComm in finance from the University of British Columbia. His new role will be to guide Communicate.com's growth strategy and drive mergers and acquisitions and business development activities.
