AirIQ launches review of operations

Toronto-based AirIQ Inc. has reorganized operational activities and kicked off a strategic review of operations after the company reported being significantly hurt financial resulting from a high Canadian dollar. The telematics provider laid off 23% of its workforce this week and plans to increase the amount of American-based staff. AirIQ is also making some operational changes integrated three divisions into two. All land-based systems will be based out of Canada, while the Marine division will be headquartered in San Diego.
