CTVgm partners with Canadian Centre for Diverstiy

The Canadian Centre for Diversity has named CTVglobemedia Inc. the exclusive national media sponsor of its 2007-2008 See Different fundraising campaign. The agreement provides the centre with a multiplatform awareness campaign leveraging CTVgm's television, radio and print properties. As part of the partnership, CTVgm has produced a 30-second English-language television public service announcement, which will be aired across the broadcaster's national, local and specialty television properties, to generate for the centre's public education and fundraising efforts. "CTVglobemedia is proud to support the Canadian Centre for Diversity's innovative campaign, and we congratulate them on their excellent programs," said Sarah Crawford, VP of public affairs at CTVgm. "We're pleased to play a role in inspiring young people in Canada to stand up for diversity, equity and inclusion." See Different is a $10 million dollar campaign designed to expand the centre's programs across the country to provide youth with the education, skills and sensitivity they need to eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and to foster a society based on equality and diversity for all.
