Bell Aliant Regional Communications has inked a four-year agreement with SolutionInc Technologies Ltd. for the management of Bell Aliant's hotspots. "This is a significant milestone for SolutionInc and is indicative of the successes we have built with Aliant over the last two-and-a-half years," says SolutionInc president and CEO Glen Lavigne. The hotspot market is expected to grow considerably over the next number of years and in 2007 will increase by 25%, according to ABI Research. "As Wi-Fi hotspots multiply and become more common for personal users, management and support are required to ensure users experience seamless connections," reads a statement, announcing the deal. "SolutionInc provides the system to register and bill users at the Aliant Hotspots, as well as manages the service for Aliant. SolutionInc is also assisting in the set up of the service at the venues."
