Canada's multi-faith and multicultural television network VisionTV has embarked on its first venture into the delivery of on-demand content. VisionTV On Demand, which delivers Flash format previews, program clips and exclusive original content, can be accessed via visiontv.ca. "Extending our brand into the on-demand world as a means of promoting VisionTV's unique program offerings has been a high priority," said Mark Prasuhn, VisionTV's COO and senior VP. "Over the next several months, we will update and expand the range of content available to ensure a unique experience for viewers every time they visit the site." Offerings on the site include documentary clips, promos and sneak previews of upcoming specials such as the network's Share a Vision of Christmas and Inspirational Leaders Week events. VisionTV teamed with content delivery network Internap Streaming Service for Flash to provide the video.
