CAB Sector Committee appointments

The Canadian Association of Broadcasters Sector Committees have appointed their chairs and vice-chairs for the 2007-2008 term. The Radio Committee sees Paul Ski, president of CHUM Radio, and Lyndon Friesen, executive VP and COO of Golden West Broadcasting, returning as chair and vice-chair, respectively. Rogers Broadcasting Ltd. president and CEO Real Merson, and Jim Pattison Broadcast Group president and GM Rick Arnish have been appointed chair and vice-chair of the Television Committee. And Jon Medline, CanWest's director of regulatory affairs, television and radio, and Sophie Émond, Astral's VP of government and regulatory affairs, have been named chair and vice-chair of the Specialty and Pay Committee.
