Hemisphere to acquire Beeline

Hemisphere GPS, a Calgary provider of precision-based agricultural systems using GPS tracking, has entered into an agreement to acquire Beeline Technologies, an Australian company that specializes in precision guidance software. The acquisition, which will cost Hemisphere US$21 million, will allow the company to serve all levels of the precision agriculture market from entry level guidance systems to highly accurate auto-steering systems.
