COM DEV US appoints new president

Dan White has been named president of COM DEV International Ltd.'s US operations with the primary responsibility to establish establishing a source in the area of the company's core competency and to oversee the construction of COM DEV's Los Angeles manufacturing facility. White joined COM DEV USA earlier this year with more than 20 years of experience in the satellite industry. Prior to joining COM DEV, he was VP of engineering at Datapath, a Duluth GA firm, where he played a key role in doubling the size of the technical staff and adding critical design and analytical skills to the organization. Previously, he spent 16 years at Hughes Space and Communications, which was acquired by Boeing in 2000.
