TSN is reporting its live coverage of Saturday's Canada versus Sweden gold medal game from the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship attracted a national average audience of 2.22 million viewers, the network's fourth-largest audience ever. Levels peaked at 3.04 million viewers at 4:06 p.m. ET just prior to the start of the overtime period in Canada's 3-2 victory. Overall, TSN's coverage of Team Canada's seven games throughout the tournament averaged 950,000 viewer, surpassing the previous high of 933,000 in 2007, Sweden. Canadians even got their fill during work hours. Coverage of the Canada/US semi-final last Friday afternoon on TSN.ca attracted 173,000 unique visitors, number that dropped to 78,000 during Saturday's final.
