Telefonica completes testing of Nortel carrier Ethernet gear

The innovation arm of Telefonica Group has successfully completed tests on the performance and reliability of Nortel Networks Corp.'s Provider Backbone Bridges (PBB) and Provider Backbone Transport (PBT) carrier Ethernet solutions. The tests, which were conducted at Telefonica's lab in Madrid, involved using both products to support to support video and other high-bandwidth mobile data services.
