Rogers launches Wireless Box Office

Briefs | 03/25/2008 2:15 pm EDT

Rogers Wireless, in association with the world’s largest music company Live Nation, today launched its exclusive Wireless Box Office, which will allow cell phones to become wireless tickets to select Live Nation concerts across Canada. Wireless Box Office is supported on all Rogers handsets with a WAP 2.0 browser and MMS capability. Through Live Nation Member Ticketing, Rogers Wireless customers can easily browse and purchase preferred concert tickets over their phone. Then users simply show the ticket on their handset at the gate of a concert to gain access. As well, Rogers Wireless Box Office ticket holders will have VIP venue access through a special entry line designated just for Rogers customers.
