Canwest Mediaworks has named Brett Manlove VP and GM of Global Television’s BC operations, CHBC and CHEK. Manlove began his broadcasting career almost 20 years ago when he joined BCTV/CHEK as an account executive. Since then he’s held a variety of senior sales and marketing positions with the network, including his most recent role as Canwest’s senior VP of sales and marketing Canada. He is also a board member and past president of the BC Association of Broadcasters, board member/treasurer of the Advertising Standards Council, and trustee of the Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.
