PJ Tarasuk has been appointed to the position of talent manager at Canwest Broadcasting. In his new role, Tarasuk will work closely with Canwest’s marketing and content departments to raise the profile of the network’s talent and brands. Tarasuk joins Canwest from a successful career as an entertainment media consultant, where he fostered relationships between talent and Canadian partners, including brands such as Virgin Mobile, CBC, Hugo Boss and Motorola. He most recently worked with the Canwest team on the launch of E! and Entertainment Tonight Canada’s TIFF event series last September. "This new role reinforces Canwest’s commitment to nurturing and profiling Canadian talent and to developing our country’s star system," said Walter Levitt, Canwest Broadcasting’s CMO. "We’re delighted to have someone with such broad experience and credentials leading the charge in this important area."
