The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development released its most recent figures on worldwide broadband and Canada has maintained its position in the top 10 on a per subscriber basis. According to OECD numbers, Canada had 8,675,197 broadband subscribers at the end of last year, putting it in 8^th spot among the 30 OECD countries. The United States maintained its lead with nearly 70 million broadband subscribers.
