Colm Feore to head up Banff Jury

The Banff World Television Festival, which takes place in Banff AB from June 8-11, has announced that Colm Feore will preside over the 2008 International Jury. The prestigious five person jury is selected to represent a diverse cross section of some of the most respected individuals from the international television and new media industry and will select 6 Special Jury Prizes, including, Best Feature Length Documentary, Best Entertainment Program, Best Documentary and Best Drama. Feore is perhaps best known for his role in Bon Cop Bad Cop, one of the highest-grossing Canadian films of all time, and has also starred in Chicago and Trudeau. Feore will be joined on the jury by: Daniele Doglio, consulting editor to the director general of RAI; Cynthia A. Fenneman, CEO of American Public Television; Kerry Stauffer, director, Creative Electronic Environment (CEE) at The Banff Centre; and Robert Thomas, CEO of Creative Business Wales. The jury will convene one week prior to the festival to make its selections.
