S-VOX to re-brand new stations
Brief | May 21, 2008
Independent broadcaster S-VOX has announced it has engaged Toronto-based marketing agencies Cundari SFP and Loopmedia to help re-brand CHNU-TV and CIIT-TV the Vancouver and Winnipeg stations S-VOX officially acquired in April. "These stations play important roles in their communities, and we will undertake to ensure that they retain a local character," said Mark Prasuhn, S-VOX’s COO and senior VP of programming. "S-VOX, working with talented partners such as Trillennium Media Group, is committed to developing local programming and nurturing local talent." S-VOX has also announced a new half-hour weekday talk series The Daily with Mark & Laura-Lynn, which it co produced with Trillennium, will premiere on June 2 on CHNU. Hosted by former BC Lions defensive back Mark Washington and Vancouver broadcast personality Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, the show features in-studio interviews and location segments, and will have a different thematic focus each day of the week – from business and world events to family and wellness.
