Ontario renews rural broadband program

The Ontario government is investing $30 million over four years to accelerate the rollout of broadband Internet to rural communities. Under the Rural Connections Broadband Program, municipalities in southern Ontario can apply for up to one-third of project costs to a maximum of $1 million. The deadline for applications is September 18.
