Microelectronics firm Gennum Corp. has acquired ASIC Architect Inc., a move that will help the Ontario company accelerate product introduction and complement existing products in the high-speed data communications market. ASIC Architect’s intellectual property will also aid Gennum in system-on-a-chip (SoC) product development.
