After a four-year stint as president at CanWest Broadcasting, Kathy Dore will leave her current position after her contract expires in October. Dore was instrumental in rebranding Global Television and increasing its presence in the list of top shows in the country. She also oversaw the integration of Alliance Atlantis speciality channels into CanWest as well as managing a number of initiatives that enabled CanWest to exploit advertising opportunities through multiple platforms, including directing the transition to a digital environment.
