Canwest Global Communications Corp. subsidiary, Canwest MediaWorks UK Limited, has sold its three underperforming ‘Original 106 fm’ radio operations in the UK. The sale of the three stations, located in Bristol, Aberdeen and the Solent region of England, will enable the company to improve its operating profits by approximately $7 million annually.
