Barrett Xplore continues to expand the reach of terrestrial network by acquiring more spectrum and this time the company has purchased bandwidth covering rural parts of Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick from Mipps Inc., a company affiliated with Primus Telecommunications Canada. Now Barrett has 3.5 GHz spectrum covering rural parts of the country in every province from BC to New Brunswick to go along with its pan-Canadian satellite coverage, for which it recently added additional capacity.
