More money for northern broadband

The federal government has committed more money to bringing broadband to residents of the Far North, allocating nearly $36.5 million for broadband infrastructure in 56 communities in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories from the National Satellite Initiative. The announcement comes amid speculation that the government will call an election.
