RIM brings new device and chat services to market

The long-rumoured flip phone, or clamshell BlackBerry has finally been introduced. Research in Motion unveiled the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 earlier today, announcing that it comes equipped with all the same features as previous iterations. Those include a two Megapixel camera and media player as well as all the other traditional business-oriented applications such as mobile email, calendar and others.
