Barrett continues its cross country expansion

Barrett Xplore Inc. has acquired another wireless Internet provider, a move that follows a series of others to expand its terrestrial wireless coverage across the country. Following on the heels of its acquisition of rural spectrum from Mipps Inc. and its more recent purchase of W3 Connex, Barrett scooped up new Brunswick-based Aernet Wireless from K-Line Construction Ltd. The deal is expected to be finalized on September 30 at which time, Barrett will gain control of 1,900 more customers.
