Susan Baldwin, chief administration officer of CANARIE Inc., has been appointed the inaugural executive director of Compute Canada, a national organization that coordinates and promotes the use of High Performance Computing in Canadian research. Prior to joining CANARIE in 2000, Baldwin held many senior executive positions in the federal government, including the CRTC, Canadian Heritage and Industry Canada.
