National digital media day to kick off with massive public kiss

Briefs | 09/22/2008 6:04 pm EDT

Thousands of interactive digital media professionals will gather in eight cities across Canada on September 25 to mark what is being billed as the first ever National Digital Media Day. Organizers of the event are planning a massive public kiss which will be photographed and uploaded simultaneously onto the Internet to create "an intimate portrait of those passionate about digital media." In addition, bloggers in several cities will also be reporting events about the day as they happen.
