Former Bell Canada International executive VP and COO Robert Bouchard has joined the board of directors of Montreal-based OmniGlobe Networks Inc., which delivers cellular, broadband, Internet and VoIP services globally. During his nearly 30 year career at Bell Canada and BCI, Bouchard held numerous managerial and executive positions in operations, customer services, and capital and expense portfolio management. While at BCI, he was instrumental in growing the cellular user base in South Korea and Taiwan from zero to 2.5 million subscribers in two years. He had similar success in Colombia, Brazil and Mexico and later negotiated the sale of BCI’s shares in Telecom Americas to America Movil, one of the largest corporations in Latin America.
