Route1 gets deal with US government

Route1 Inc., a Toronto-based provider of security gear, has announced that it will begin delivering its secure identity management and dynamic virtual private network (VPN) platform to the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The contract is also in conjunction with Route1’s reseller Qwest Communications International Inc. The initial three-year deal is worth more than $2 million.
