Industry Canada has finally appointed a full time assistant deputy minister for Spectrum, Information Technologies & Telecommunications (SITT), following the departure of Michael Binder in January to become interim president of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. (Binder was subsequently appointed full-time president and will serve a five-year term).
