Toronto-based Silverbirch Inc. has appointed Kevin Astle as interim president/CEO, and announced that it is leaving the mobile and handheld development sector to focus on the gaming sector. Astle replaces Derek van der Plaat, who resigned his executive and director posts yesterday.
