Craig gets mobile WiMAX approval

Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. has won Industry Canada approval for the conversion of its multi-point distribution system (MDS) spectrum in the Vancouver area to Broadband Radio Service (BRS) spectrum. The approval allows Craig Wireless to offer mobile services using WiMAX technology in the Vancouver and lower mainland regions of British Columbia. The company will also continue to provide broadcasting distribution services.
