Viigo Inc. named Most Promising Company of the Year

A 127-member jury at the 2008 Canadian New Media Awards has named Viigo Inc.(www.viigo.com) as the Most Promising New Company of the Year. The Toronto-based company, which develops mobile content and platforms for smartphones, has developed a fully customizable application that delivers weather information, news, flight schedules and status, stock quotes and market data in one simple fully customized application. Regarding the award, CEO Mark Ruddock said the company is honoured to have received the award. "This achievement is a reflection of the wonderful team we have here at Viigo, all of whom are committed to delivering a game changing product that truly humanizes the smartphone experience."
