Mark Tonnesen has been appointed senior VP and chief information officer at McAfee Inc. Based in Santa Clara CA, Tonnesen will be responsible for the worldwide management and implementation of the company’s information technology and infrastructure.
Tonnesen joins McAfee from Logitech, a provider of personal peripherals, where he was VP and CIO. Prior to Logitech, he spent more than a decade at Cisco Systems, where he held a variety of senior management roles. At Cisco, Tonnesen spearheaded Cisco’s successful implementation, evolution, and adoption of Cisco’s extended e-Business strategy.
