Industry Canada stops licensing two spectrum bands

Industry Canada is considering usage changes to spectrum in the 11 GHz and 15 GHz ranges and as a result has issued a moratorium on licensing of fixed services in the following bands: 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz, 14.66-14.82 GHz and 15.135-15.295 GHz. The department kicked off two consultations regarding the aforementioned spectrum.
