RIM pulls bid for Certicom

Research in Motion Ltd. has pulled its acquisition offer for Certicom Corp. off the table after an Ontario court rules that RIM used confidential information to make its purchase offer. RIM had offered $1.50 per share the security technology provider, but the Waterloo company was rebuffed after Certicom said the offer was well-below what it believed was a fair offer.
