CAB declines to appear at new media hearing

The Canadian Association of Broadcasters has turned down a CRTC request to appear before the new media hearing scheduled for Feb. 17. In a letter dated Feb. 4th, Elizabeth Roscoe, executive VP, strategic policy, and public affairs, said CAB has nothing to add to the new media proceeding. In addition, CAB will also not appear before the CRTC for another deliberation on March 9.
