Shaw launches Canada’s fastest and priciest broadband service

Shaw Communications Inc. has upped the ante in the race for faster broadband with the Tuesday launch of its premium High-Speed Nitro Internet service in Saskatoon. The service uses Docsis 3.0 technology to provide speeds at 100 Mbps, which Shaw says is "unquestionably the fastest Internet speed available across Canada". In fact, Shaw was the first North American MSO to break the 100 Mbps barrier.
