WordLogic Corp. has announced that its predictive text software is now available for Windows Mobile compatible devices. “Upon typing a letter the system offers the user a list of five completion candidates at a time, based on more than 50,000 dictionary entries, which can be rapidly selected and inserted into the text,” reads a statement. “The handheld version of the WordLogic predictive text software features a configurable keyboard Graphical User Interface (GUI) for touch-screen smartphones, new WordChunking technology, fully customizable dictionaries and a number of innovative shortcuts designed to make text inputting even quicker and easier.” The company’s WordChunking Technology allows users to type large words with only a few input letters. For example, typing "go" will give the user a number of choices, including "govern". Selecting this will present a new list of words including "government". Highlighting "government" will then allow the user to choose from another selection of words such as "government-sponsored".
