From the Editor’s Desk: Being productive isn’t a tough sell

We all want to be more productive, but our individual reasons can differ. Some people are more specifically task or goal oriented, some see productivity as a route to more leisure time, and the business-minded see increased worker productivity as something that adds to the bottom line. In an ideal world these interests don’t compete but converge: a productive worker is one who takes satisfaction in getting the job done, is well rewarded with decent pay and vacation time, and adds to his or her organization’s success. However, when it comes to information and communications technology (ICT) and productivity, things can get tricky.
