Ubisoft has appointed Jade Raymond as studio head of its new Toronto operations. “I’m honored to be a part of Ubisoft’s expansion into Toronto,” she said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to building a strong and talented team to work on AAA games and new intellectual properties.” Raymond previously gained fame as the producer for Ubisoft's hit Assassin's Creed which was developed at Ubisoft's Montreal studio. In her new position, she will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of video game projects in the Toronto studio. She will report to Ubisoft Montreal and Toronto CEO, Yannis Mallat. “With more than 12 years of experience in the video game industry, Jade’s knowledge and leadership as an industry veteran are major assets in building the Toronto studio and expanding Ubisoft’s presence in Canada,” said Mallat.
