Feds get kudos as broadband stimulus program opens call for applications

Canada’s $225-million rural broadband stimulus plan – which began accepting funding applications last week – may pale in comparison to billion dollar initiatives in Australia and the United States, but it’s still getting positive reviews here at home where one analyst suggested spending more would distort the market.
