Bloc’s regional regulator bill defeated in Commons vote

The New Democrats voted in favour of Bloc Québécois private members Bill C-444 Wednesday evening—which had proposed to regionalize CRTC responsibilities in Quebec—but the bill failed by a Commons vote of 200 to 77.
