ITU, UNESCO announce broadband commission to reduce digital divide

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced Monday the creation of a high-level Broadband Commission for Digital Development to study strategies for broadband rollout worldwide and reduce the digital divide.
