Commission schedules hearing on Média de Novo proposal

Although the CRTC has already issued a decision saying that cable and satellite providers cannot use "local availability" time for commercial advertisements, the commission is going ahead with a consideration of a Média de Novo Inc. application for a broadcasting licence to operate a national English-language programming undertaking that proposes to use the advertising.
